He embarked on this illustrious path with an MBBS from Kurnool Medical College, laying a robust foundation in medical science. His quest for pediatric specialization took him to the prestigious Sydney University of Paediatrics in Australia, where he earned his DCH, further honing his expertise.
Elevating his clinical acumen, Dr. Reddy secured an MD from Manipal Hospital, followed by prestigious MRCPCH and FRCPCH qualifications from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK. These accolades not only underscore his mastery in pediatrics but also place him among the elite in the field.
Further broadening his global medical perspective, Dr. Reddy attained the coveted FRACP from the Royal Australian College of Physicians. His academic thirst then led him to two of the world’s top universities, Boston University and Columbia University, for advanced studies in Pediatric Nutrition (PGPN), showcasing his commitment to the holistic well-being of children.
Complementing his medical prowess, Dr. Reddy pursued an MBA in Hospital Management, blending clinical expertise with strategic leadership skills. Career Journey:
Dr Reddy began his career as an intern in 2008 at Kurnool Medical College. In 2010, he became a resident in Paediatrics at Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. In 2013, he joined Apollo Hospitals in Bangalore as the Paediatric Registrar and concurrently worked as a part-time Consultant Paediatrician at Sri Lakshmi Super Specialty Hospital, Bangalore. Between 2014 and 2017, Dr Reddy moved to Srinivasa Specialty Hospital, Bangalore, India, as a Part-Time Consultant Paediatrician and in Charge of Paediatrics.
Dr Reddy has been working as a Medical director and Consultant pediatrician in Ovum Women and Child Hospitals , since 2017.
Research and Publications:
Dr. Venugopal Reddy has published over 40 articles in various international peer-reviewed journals, showcasing his expertise and knowledge in Paediatrics. Besides his research work, Dr. Reddy has also published 6 books related to paediatrics. Currently he is working as Editor in Chief of MAR pediatrics (UK) international peer reviewed journal.
